Owner & Founder
Vaughn has over a decade of experience in writing aerial application, commercial aviation, and personal aviation insurance. He is a national board member for the aerial application drone association (U.PASS), advocating for Ag drone pilots and pushing for industry advancements. Under his leadership, VT Insurance Agency has become one of the founding fathers in the agriculture drone industry with over 1,000 drones currently insured nationwide.
Gabe Hicks
Insurance Agent
Gabe joined VT Insurance in March 2024. Before joining, he was in Education as a successful high school coach and teacher in Texas for over a decade. Earlier in his career, Gabe spent time in the U.S. Navy as a crewman, flying with helicopter squadron HSL-49 performing Air-Sea Rescue Ops and other aviation warfare duties. He brings his high energy and love for working with others to help clients navigate aerial application and aviation insurance.
Kasia Gonzalez
Licensed Insurance Agent
Kasia has worked with VT Insurance Agency for the past three years. Prior to that, she served as a property and casualty adjuster. With a background in risk assessment and insurance solutions, Kasia has a specialized focus on agricultural drone spraying and has been instrumental in collaborating with aerial applicators and newcomers to the industry, offering guidance and education to support their growth and compliance.

Dennis is a certified agriculture drone operator and trusted ag drone insurance provider, dedicated to helping farmers harness aerial technology while protecting their investments. With years of hands-on field experience and deep industry knowledge, Dennis bridges the gap between precision farming and risk management—ensuring clients maximize crop yields with confidence and peace of mind.
Montana Plumer
Licensed Insurance Agent
Montana is a licensed insurance agent and business owner with a background in business development and agriculture. Before VT Insurance, she worked for State Farm primarily writing farm and ranch policies. Montana and her husband have owned and operated a custom application business for four years, giving her firsthand insight into the unique challenges business owners face in this industry.

Lisa brings prior experience as a UAV agent with a strong understanding of the unique risks drone operators face. She began her insurance career at an industry-leading aviation agency, spending three years growing from Administrative Assistant to lead UAV specialist. Known for exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a strong commitment to excellence, Lisa strives to make the insurance process straightforward and tailored to each client.
